The manufacturers have built the product with their award winning system of infrared cooking. The grill tackled every task we threw at it from warming tortillas and grilling steak and sausages to cooking vegetables and charring red peppers to peel. Despite reading another review about it losing heat i purchased it. I purchased both the heating element 29101987and controller 29101991.

Years ago i purchased a char broil electric grill and it did a great job. Read honest and unbiased product reviews from our users. I thought i would upgrade to this one because of the infrared technology. Now i went out to use the grill this weekend 2 9 19 and the controller has failed again. Overall reviews are positive in regards to the assembly use and cleanup of the grill. The grill is perfect if you plan on cooking for your family or a small group of friends. The char broil 240 patio bistro electric grill packs plenty of functions from high heat searing to low and slow cooking and we found it very easy to use.

Best and worst grill i have ever owned. Sure enough this thing does not heat up.
