You ll need to use a heat transfer that applies at a low temperature so that the polyester won t scorch.
Can you use heat transfer vinyl on microfiber.
With 100 polyester you can use any siser heat transfer vinyl.
Then you ll need to order your transfer type or vinyl material in something that applies that low.
If you need to give the vinyl more heat be sure to use a cover sheet.
Place the iron on top of your design and press down with firm pressure for 10 15 seconds.
If you cab see the texture of the leather through the vinyl then you have a good application.
Like materials are best printed using the dye sublimation technology.
If you re able to test press an inconspicuous area of the jacket at 340 f this is the temperature we use on the easypress for most siser htv if the polyester shows no heat mark then you can press the htv for 10 15 seconds.
This chart shows which heat applied materials can be used on several frequently used fabrics including cotton polyester nylon and leather.
In the heat press printing pigment ink and a transfer paper are used to do the printing job.
Generally around 300 degrees you should be fine but you ll need to see how heat sensitive your polyester is.
